The assault resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
